Motorola Droid X Sold Out

The Apple iPhone 4 has had nothing but negative press in recent days with its antenna problems but Motorola has managed to fill the void with some positive news of their own. The Motorola Droid X was expected to be a good featured Android phone and now that it has gone on sale, this expectation has been confirmed as the handset is already sold out in under a day.
Head on over to the Verizon website and you’ll be greeted by a message indicating that the Droid X is no longer available for immediate delivery. If you place your order today, you can expect that it will ship next week on July 23rd. The Motorola Droid X is not the only phone to be in short supply as the HTC EVO 4G on the Sprint network and the HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon have seen the same brisk sales.
